On February 6, 2024, Project Give donated $4200 to Akron Snow Angels for Operation Stop Frostbite to purchase hand and feet warmers. Akron Snow Angels spreads warmth and connects with the most vulnerable in our community by providing basic essentials and fostering compassionate friendships while inspiring others to do the same. Twice a month from November through April, Akron Snow Angel volunteers go on “missions” to homeless camps and areas surrounding shelters to #SpreadTheWarmth. They provide around 250 lunches on each mission, as well as gently used winter clothing & toiletries that have been donated. Akron Snow Angels use donor dollars to fulfill requests for winter items they do not have in stock such as tents, sleeping bags, winter boots & coats.
