Haven of Rest Receives 867 Bus Passes from Project Give, Valued at Over $3,000

At Project Give, we are proud to announce our donation of 867 bus passes, valued at over $3,000, to Haven of Rest. This contribution will support the organization's essential bus pass program, which helps individuals in need across Akron gain access to transportation, opening doors to job opportunities, medical appointments, and other essential services.
Haven of Rest’s bus pass program is vital for men, women, and children who are homeless or facing financial hardship. 

Many of the people they serve do not have access to reliable transportation and rely on these bus passes to get to work, attend interviews, visit medical appointments, or run necessary errands. This program is an important part of their mission to help individuals rebuild their lives and regain independence.

​By offering transportation, Haven of Rest provides a lifeline that helps people reach their destinations, whether it’s to secure employment, take care of family needs, or seek medical care. These bus passes help people overcome a significant barrier, enabling them to move forward in their lives with greater independence and stability.
