Who Could Use a Friendly Chat? Project Give is proud to feature and support Chat Pals, a program by Greater Cleveland Volunteers. Chat Pals is dedicated to connecting volunteers with adults aged 55 and older who are lonely or isolated. Through friendly phone conversations, volunteers provide companionship, social interaction, and emotional support to those in need. At Project Give, we believe in the power of social connection. As a social organization, we understand that maintaining strong relationships is vital to overall well-being, especially as we age. Studies show that regular social interaction can reduce the risk of depression, cognitive decline, and even physical health issues. According to the National Institute on Aging, strong social ties can lead to a 50% increase in longevity, highlighting just how essential programs like Chat Pals are for older adults. With the generous donations from Project Give, we will help fund the expansion of Chat Pals by recruiting and training more volunteers. This means reaching more adults aged 55 and older, ensuring they have regular social connections, and improving their overall well-being. Come enjoy a wonderful evening with delicious food, drinks, and the opportunity to make a lasting impact in the community! Together, we can bring warmth, companionship, and support to those who need it most. Please RSVP to Spring Fling at your earliest convenience. We look forward to seeing you there! Project Give
