Winter Warm Up: An Evening of Impact Supporting CarsonStrong

On February 3, 2026, Project Give gathered at Burntwood Tavern for our Winter Warm Up event- an inspiring evening of connection, generosity, and meaningful impact.

​The CarsonStrong Foundation is committed to improving the lives of children and families impacted by cancer and other significant life challenges. Their signature program, Gift of Time Together, provides fully funded respite experiences for families facing a child’s life-threatening illness.

​These experiences allow families to step away from hospital rooms, treatment schedules, and financial stress — and simply be together. Whether it’s a beach trip, a cabin getaway, or another meaningful destination, these moments create lasting memories during some of life’s most difficult seasons.

Why This Matters
Families navigating pediatric cancer or other life-threatening illnesses often face overwhelming emotional and financial strain.

​Quality time together can feel out of reach. CarsonStrong removes that barrier, covering the full cost of these experiences so families can focus on what matters most: each other.

During the event, we heard a powerful story about a young boy named Sam who was facing his second relapse. Through Gift of Time Together, his family was able to spend precious time at their favorite Florida beach. Just days after returning home, Sam passed away. His mother later shared that he had been holding on for that trip — one final, beautiful memory they will carry forever.
There wasn’t a dry eye in the room.

The Power of Collective Giving
Project Give exists to bring women together through giving — and evenings like this are a reminder of why that matters. When we pool our resources and focus our support, we create real, tangible impact for families right here in our community.
